Project Description

The administrative building for the M&E Design Office Goblet Lavandier & Associés Ingénieurs-Conseils S.A. (GL&Ass) is situated in Niederanven, Luxembourg and was inaugurated in 2018.

The primary  goals for the conception and the design of the project were on the one hand to provide maximum comfort and well-being to the collaborators and on the other hand to realise a very innovative project in terms of energy consumption and air quality.

Our Input

GL&Ass Engineers were responsible for the M&E design. The design phase started with a dynamic simulation and modelling of the building with the goal to optimise the energy concept.

Key Features

The energy standard is AAA, considered as a nZEB (Nearly zero energy building), and is heated/chilled by geothermal energy. For energy transmission, it uses activated concrete beams, and it uses natural ventilation for additional cooling. A photovoltaic system completes the technical equipment.

The building was certified DGNB ( Deutsche Gesellschaft Nachhaltiges Bauen) platinum and uses exclusively sain materials in order to achieve a perfect air quality.
