Project description
The new building of the old people's centre Kloster Ingenbohl comprises a total of 11 storeys, seven of which are above ground. The floors are accessed via four lifts and two staircases. In addition to various storage and ancillary rooms, the basement floors also contain the HVAC technical centre, the kitchen with the associated infrastructure and the cloakrooms and WC area for the nursing staff. From the ground floor to and including the first floor are the service rooms. On the ground floor, in addition to the food serving area, there is also the residents' dining room, a chapel as well as offices and various ancillary rooms. On the first floor, in addition to the office space, there is a room for pedicures, a hairdresser, two treatment rooms, a room for activities and a multi-purpose room. The other floors (2nd floor–6th floor) are used for nursing care. In addition to 16 single rooms with their own bathroom, each floor has two double rooms, a large living area or the residents' dining room and, in the core of the building, a ward bathroom, a sink room and various storage rooms.
