MICS Omega
Metrohm manufactures chemical analysis instruments that are used across the world, supplying customers such as Intel, Samsung, and Rolls Royce. The new Omega building, located by the Schie River and next to the A20 highway, provides Metrohm with 7,350 m² of flexible space. This is exactly what this growing international company needs as a new home for its 100 employees in Schiedam.
Omega has been designed modularly. This makes future space expansions easy to implement. This flexible layout is characteristic of the new buildings at the MICS campus and aligns with the needs of companies in the modern manufacturing industry. The demand for development and production space is always changing, and the MICS buildings provide the flexibility to optimally support business processes. Sustainable growth and development are key. The construction of Omega took less than a year and was carried out by contractor Systabo (VolkerWessels).
