Key Features
Over half of the facility consisted of –40°C refrigeration storage, while the Romanian Fire Department mandated a smoke‑extraction system that could operate regardless of internal temperature. This created significant engineering challenges. In summer conditions, with external temperatures around +37°C, the smoke‑exhaust ducts required large cross‑sections to ensure rapid smoke removal. Ensuring airtightness and preventing warm‑air infiltration into the deep‑freeze areas through these ducts was particularly difficult
