Project Description
ABC Square and HelloWorld buildings.
As part of one of the most sustainable area developments in Europe, ABC Square was the first building to be realized on the Schiphol Trade Park (STP) business park.
Together with its sister building, ABC Square and HelloWorld are iconic buildings for the area and trendsetters in sustainable logistic real estate for the Netherlands.
The buildings are fully equipped with water-saving sanitary facilities and irrigation, ecological facilities for plants and animals, energy and water monitoring with sub-metering, energy-efficient elevators, modern heat-pump systems, energy efficient LED-lighting and rainwater treatment.
Our Input
Over the years 2018 until 2023, Smits van Burgst, as a supervising BREEAM-NL Expert, has assisted the partnership between Delta Development and VolkerWessels Logistics Development,
in achieving a series of BREEAM-NL Excellent sustainability certificates for the ABC Square and HelloWorld buildings.
Key Features
Due to the low energy consumption of the buildings, in combination with the large number of solar arrays, a net positive energy performance has been achieved.
